Well, in my opinion canon is the best.. any canon that is. (: the 5d is on my wish list... but it's uber expensive... my sister has one, she's a pro photographer. (: Maybe a 400d or a 450d would be in your price range? You can get them for not too much on ebay. (:

awesome, i'll google that and check it out
i've been on the lookout for a new camera for a while now
and when i see some really good photos that are of nice quailty etc i always have to ask what sort of camera has been used (:
it's just a habit of mine, because i'm trying to find the best possible camera fo rme that's out there, and of course at a reasonable price
i'm looking at around a grand at the max, i wouldn't go anymore than that
unless i did become a professional photographer, which is my aspiration, then yeah i'd spend quite a lot hehehe (:
